Dr.Prathap Sekhar MDS

Implantologist and Prosthodontist

Focusing his knowledge and talent on dental surgery, Dr. Prathap Sekhar has directed his skill by completing B.D.S (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and M.D.S (Master of Dental Surgery) – Prosthodontics at Saveetha Dental College, Chennai.

The courses which he has completed include a prestigious B.P.S specialist certification course held at Lichenstein, Schaan (Switzerland), December 2012. He was awarded the Best Course Participant award during the course. He practices BPS philosophy and system on a regular basis.

His expertise in CADCAM stems from the training that he experienced under Dr. Shiva Shankar M.D.S. This involved designing and milling of all ceramic restorations using CADCAM technology (SIRONA CEREC system). Dr. Prathap Sekhar fabricates all ceramic restorations on a daily basis using the SIRONA CADCAM system. He also has designed, milled and completed over 350 restorations till date.

He currently works as a Senior lecturer at Saveetha Dental College, Department of Prosthodontics.
